NOW OR NEVER
MANIZHA x JIM BEAM
TREATMENT BY AITORE
Introduction
We continue the global story of Jim Beam Welcome Sessions, in which artists return to iconic venues from their past. The heroine of our episode is Manizha and she returns to Crocus City Hall for one of the singer's biggest solo concerts.

In our concept, the concert hall welcomes her with the same warmth and flowers, as if rejoicing at her return again.

Concept
The concept of the video is based on the emotions of Manizha, who returns to Crocus City Hall, the venue of her biggest solo concert in Moscow.

The whole live will be built on the light and an aesthetically beautiful vibe of the hall, decorated with flowers. Manizha will interact with the location and through this - convey emotion to the viewer. Live will be shot in one shot to immerse the viewer in the atmosphere of the live performance.

The track itself is very dynamic and we want the live performance to be bright, emotional and inspiring.

I'd like to mention that this live will also be a release of Manizha's new song, which gives even more importance to the event.

The song itself conveys the singer's vivid emotions and speaks of fortitude and overcoming one's fears.

The song tells a complex and at the same time deep sensual love story.

Please see a video attached to listen to the track.

BOYZ
Manizha - Now or Never
Location
Why did we choose this location?

Crocus was the biggest solo concert of Manizha in Moscow. It was the first time when she felt like a big artist. Thousands of fans greeted her with great warmth and gave her flowers. It was her first concert where she performed for the first time with a choir. One of Manizha's most important performances took place at this venue.

For most of the clip, the entire location will be in soft and cozy light, the details that are significant to the scene, such as the piano, the band, and the orchestra, will be shown only at the right moments. This is done to create the effect of surprise and increases the interest of the picture.

During the live performance Manizha remembers her performance in Crocus with warmth and how hospitable the audience was to welcome her and to give her flowers after the concert. This hall plays an important role in her career, as a transition moment to the new level.

Look & feel
Throughout the track, the mood changes from calm and serene to dynamic and energetic. Visual solutions, are aimed to accompany the viewer with the same rhythm through the emotions.

Also, an important point is that Manizha herself is incredibly charismatic, so the emphasis was placed on her and her ability to transmit her emotions on camera.

Flowers
Flowers, used to decorate the dance floor, bring the location itself to life. This creates the effect that Manizha is in full bloom.

The flowers also convey the mood of the song itself, helping the listener to feel the message of the song. The flowers show the freedom she feels in her soul at this moment.

I would like to use real flowers to achieve the most natural and organic look possible.

Intro
Manizha walks down the Crocus corridor and opens the door to the hall, slowly walking through the backstage pass to the stage. Along the way we show the opening branding bars of Jim Beam Welcome Session. Manizha's path to the microphone is filmed without music and in silence to give the audience a sense of presence.

Manizha slowly walks out of the backstage area onto the stage and with a warm feeling of nostalgia looks around the empty hall and the familiar stage where she used to perform.

She slowly walks to the center of the stage, where the microphone is located, gets very close to it, closes her eyes as if trying to return to her memories of the old concert and begins to sing with a smile on her face.

00:00 - 00:18
Manizha with her eyes closed begins to sing very gracefully, we get a close-up of her emotions and her sensual singing. The camera shoots Manizha from the left side in profile, emphasizing her nostalgic emotion and sensual presentation.
00:18 - 00:55
At 18 seconds Manizha takes the microphone in her hands and steps back and we see the Piano behind her, the camera moves smoothly to the pianist behind the piano and shoots him playing. Literally for these 10 seconds Manizha is out of the frame and while the camera was filming the pianist, she gets next to the band and prepares for a spectacular lead-in.

At 37 seconds into the music there is a transition, we start hearing the bass guitar and the camera abruptly turns back to the center of the stage where Manizha is now standing with the music band and back-up singers, vibrantly and passionately singing the song together.

00:55 - 01:32

Manizha stands in front of the band and they sing the chorus vigorously. We focus on Manizha's expressive flow and her singing. The musicians play different instruments: guitars, drums, etc. The camera moves freely feeling the atmosphere and energy of the artist.

The interaction with the band will be mostly improvisational. It is clear from Manizha's performances how well she can sing with a band. At the rehearsals we will go through all these moments and test how different variants will work on camera.

1:31 - 01:48
At this point in the song, Manizha is singing and simultaneously starts to walk onwards and move to the side where the dance floor is.

Important moment - the dance floor was not illuminated all this time and we could not see what is there.

Manizha comes down from the middle of the stage by the stairs decorated with flowers, and passes to the dance floor, where the orchestra and back-up singers will be set. All around the orchestra we have everything decorated with flowers and it all creates a little circle of flowers, around the orchestra and Manizha.

The camera will reveal this very slowly to the audience and it will be totally unexpected and create a cool "wow" effect.

01:48 - 02:24
There is a very melodic moment in the track, we see the whole orchestra and Manizha, who stands in front of them and starts to sing while surrounded by flowers. The orchestra and the back-up vocalists increase the excitement and spectacularity of the performance. The atmosphere is also supported by the light, which changes depending on the mood of the track.

02:24 - 3:02

Here comes the absolute climax of the song and it would be desirable to see confetti starting to fall down from above. Confetti evokes bright positive emotions in the audience. The atmosphere of the live becomes more intense, the whole place is lit up, the lights become dynamic and everything starts to shine.

03:02 - 03:24
Towards the end of the track for a memorable ending of the live, camera goes up as if flying out of the hall.

The camera then looks down to the hall from above, showing us the entire concert hall filled with flowers, confetti and Manizha surrounded by all of the participants of this live performance.

On that pleasant note, we'd like to end our live show.

Style Manizha
Through Manizha's outfit we want to convey the meaning of the song and the feelings described in it. The combination of the rough elements of the costume and the delicate, airy layer of fabric accurately conveys the range of emotions expressed in the song. The light texture of the top layer of the dress reflects the feeling of freedom she gains afterwards. The dress harmonizes the lightness of the soul with the toughness of the character.

The variations of the costume are shown below

The back-up vocalists

The backup singers will be right next to Manizha, in the middle of the flowers where the dance floor is, interacting with her and singing, giving her energy and moving next to her.

Manizha has 4 people on her backup vocals, they are two guys, two girls who always work with her, they know her energy and know how to work together, so I am not worried about their interaction and know that they have a great feeling for each other, but of course we will rehearse it all and watch to make sure everything is helping us create a cozy atmosphere.

There are pictures below showing their outfits, they will be in more classic looks and pastel colors.

We also would like to add 6 more people on the singer's back-up vocals to fill the space in the background. Their voices will not be recorded, but they will be positioned at the edge of the dance floor from the side of the stage.

Brand Integration
At the very beginning, as Manizha enters the hall from the backstage area, we can place the neon Jim Beam Welcome Sessions logo and she will walk next to it.
Brand Integration

As an option, we can use the logo on the front of the drum.
The logo would be visible even in general view shots, neat and unobtrusive.

Brand Integration
Also, among the flowers, we can put a small podium (like in the video from L'one) where Manizha can sing, and stick the Jim Beam logo on it and decorate it with our flowers.
Brand Integration

On the side of the hallway we will put high bar desk with a bucket on it. The bucket is going to be filled with ice cubes and Jim Beam bottles.

Branding 1
Also, at the beginning of the video and at the end there will be these Jim Beam branding bars.
