ALL or NOTHING
L'One x JIM BEAM
TREATMENT BY AITORE
Introduction
We continue the global story of Welcome Sessions, in which artists return to iconic venues from their past. The hero of our episode is Levan Gorozia, and it's hard to find a better place for him than a basketball court.

Our concept is built around the starting point of Levan's journey. The location is a symbol of his journey and a reference to the artist's basketball past. We complement the associative lineage with the elders at the beginning of the video, which show us even a deeper sense of Levan's roots.

All these symbols together make the story whole and warm in its own way. In one venue, we collect valuable episodes of the artist's life, looping the story - his first serious victories and defeats took place on the basketball courts and now he is here again but as a self-sufficient artist with his own audience, who are also here with him.
CONCEPT

Staying inline with the global concept and my local view I want to make one of the best and atmospheric live videos in the CIS. And it all starts from people' emotions. More often than not, we see artists perform and see the atmosphere at his concerts and we get emotional just from the way people rock with that artist, the way they get high and sing along to his song, the way they dance and slam.
In this live performance, we want to convey the kind of atmosphere where the emotions of both artist and people go off the scale.
BOYZ
She has been nominated for an Academy Award, two Grammy Awards, and the Mercury Prize
Location
A basketball court.
Why a basketball court?

The basketball court is a symbol of the beginning of the road to success for ordinary kids who have a dream and a fire inside. The court is the starting point for street kids' ideas, dreams or goals. It's where you first lose, fall down, learn to fight for what you want and win for the first time. Considering the fact that L'One used to play basketball, I wanted to connect the associations of fighting for your dreams with a place that is directly related to the artist. The atmosphere of the street, the energy of fearless guys with a desire to be a winner. When you listen to 'All or Nothing', that's exactly the feeling the track evokes, so the basketball court, in my opinion, is the perfect place to shoot the live.
Street Art
We would like to complement the picture with graffiti elements, which can be placed on ring shields and speakers, this would be appropriate within the context of our location and would visually make the story more interesting.

Also, graffiti as an element of street culture will emphasise and reinforce the street vibe we would like to convey.
Look & feel
In the video it's important for us to keep the idea behind the track itself, it's a story of a journey and a story of achievement. At the same time, we can show the unity that is sure to emerge when an artist performs live the track - that made many people to start following his path in life and with which people have personal stories and memories connected.

At the same time, we keep the atmosphere of live performances and the crazy energy from the excited crowd. The scenery and entourage creates a street atmosphere, which matches the mood of the track. And I would also like to catch the emotions, the mood and even the screams of the young people. To convey this power of dreams and self-belief. We will record not only the artist's voice, but also the crowd's voices right on the set and we'll do a live track from the set - it will allow us best to capture and convey the atmosphere and the mood of our video.

We understand from the mood of the video that Levan relates to the location with trepidation; he is happy to be in the same places that were a meaningful part of his life once and remain precious to him to this day. He sees the crowd of people who have come there for him, who sing and sway to the beat with him, which conveys an atmosphere of total unity and incredible energy. The street venue from which he literally started his journey welcomes him with warmth, which certainly evokes heart-warming feelings in him as well.
Shooting Style
Crucially, we want to shoot with a single handheld shot to achieve even more realism, presence and true feelings.

We want to shoot on film to get a unique colour and picture.

The whole venue will be lit in warm colours and the colour of our video will be just gold.

In the Jim Beam Welcome Sessions series there was an episode with the band Fontaines D.C. which was also shot in one continuous shot, with a live handheld camera, from this video we can see how this approach to filming conveys a real and true atmosphere. We want to take a similar approach to filming.

The atmosphere of the Fontaines D.C. clip is complemented by the light, which helps to achieve a warm feeling. We also want to use warm contrasting tones for the Levan episode and not go into an overly lit picture, this gives us the opportunity to set semantic accents, also with the help of light.
intro 00:00-00:50
The camera gently descends down along the high-rise and reaches L'One.
Under the sounds of ethnic chanting at the beginning of the track we see L'One standing in total darkness in front of a fire, which illuminates him, but not the location itself. Two elders in Georgian clothes are standing at the sides with torches in their hands, and in front of L'One we see the main elder singing into the microphone part of the intro.
Levan stands with his eyes closed as if praying.

The elders and the Georgian chant at the beginning are a reference to an even deeper source - Levan's Georgian roots.
Fire
The fire is an allegory of Levan's inner state, returning to the place where it all began for him - the basketball court - and igniting the feelings he had at the beginning of his journey. Excitement, emotions mounting dangerously high. And the closer he gets to the "stage" on the court, the greater the fire becomes. As the light from the fire intensifies, so does the light on the stage, creating warm colours. Levan is now surrounded by his people, who have been following his growth and who sing behind him every line of the song, swaying to the music. The people at the venue are seeing each other for the first time, but they are united by this song and with the help of the fire an atmosphere of unity is created, as if old friends have gathered around a campfire.
00:50 - 01:08
When the beat starts, the two Georgians head to the sides and start lighting up the barrels around the perimeter of the location, highlighting the borders of the basketball court. L'One begins to move towards the central area, with the camera following him. Then he comes to a small podium stage with a band (drummers, guitar players etc.) around it. Levan goes further, stands on the stage and approaches the microphone.
01:08 - 01:22 (first verse)
Levan reads a verse and the camera swirls around him, in parallel we see people from the crowd behind the mesh start to climb up the mesh fence of the basketball court and sing along with L'One. Levan's performance also draws in ordinary passers-by, who come for the music and firelight.
01:22 - 01:37 (chorus)
At the beginning of the chorus we see L'One raps and the musicians play behind him - creating just the right atmosphere on the court. Spotlights come on, illuminating the entire basketball court and the crowd of people hanging from the mesh, singing along to L'One. The warm-coloured lights create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We see a well-illuminated basketball court in a warm light that gradually builds up towards the chorus. This lighting creates the vibe we need and avoids aggressive associations, the light just emphasises the atmosphere of peace and unity of all the people in that very moment.
01:37 - 02:21 (second verse)
L'One jumps off the stage and starts walking around the entire basketball court along the perimeter of the mesh and raps to the people hanging from it. The camera accompanies him, following him. Levan makes a circle, and comes back to the starting position and sees the crowd forming a circle, in the centre of which he flies in.
02:21 - 02:51 (chorus)
With the chorus, L'One swoops into the circle and begins rapping . All the people inside the venue are dressed alike, swaying powerfully, feeling the vibe and the song. L'One raps hard with the crowd.
The camera follows him, showing the vivid emotions of the people, their glowing eyes and frenzied energy.
02:51 - 03:35 (third verse)
By the beginning of the verse, L'One, extending his palms forward asks the crowd to sit down, people get a little low without sitting on the ground, and continue to sway together to the beat. More people in the crowd place their hands on each other's shoulders, so they create a unified movement.

Next, everyone sways, and L'One continues to read the verse boldly and emotionally. In the moments of the beats, the crowd shouts out and chants along to Levan. L'One meanwhile stands swaying and rapping.
03:35 - 04:05 (Chorus)
When the chorus starts, everyone jumps up and starts swaying with L'One with their hands in the air.
The crowd gradually comes closer and closer to L'One, surrounding him even more. The camera gently begins to fly upwards, revealing a huge crowd of excited people, echoing LeBron James' iconic shot. The camera flies upwards and that's the end of our live set.
Barrels around the perimeter of the court
We put branded Jim Beam iron barrels in red around the perimeter of the venue. I wouldn't want to remove the barrels as they give us a street feel and visually they give cool lights in the background and on the sides of the venue and create an atmosphere of warmth. The barrels are very important for the visual style.
Brand Integration
Jim Beam brand integration.
It's the neon yellow Jim Beam logo on the basketball court mesh behind Levan.

Brand Integration
The stage itself, on which Levan will stand, is round-shaped. This shape replicates the centre circle of the basketball court.

At the end of the video, the camera flies up and we look down at the venue and see Jim Beam written on a small round podium.

Potential venues
We are still searching for the perfect location to fit our concept, below are the options we are considering. The main thing we are looking for in a location is a high grid.
